Next to our patients, our patients’ friends and family members are the most important people we know. Spending time with someone who cares during a hospital stay stimulates smiles and lifts spirits – on both sides of the hospital bed. 

Visiting Hours: 7a.m.-7p.m.:

• We are open to visitors. 
• No limit on who may visit.
• Visitors must enter through either the main entrance or rehab hall entrances. 
• No time limit on visitation. 
• Visitors must hand sanitize upon entering and leaving the facility.
• Visitors must maintain social distancing while in the facility.
• Visitors must remain in patient’s room during the visit.

Insight Rehabilitation Hospital Hillside abides all ADA laws for those with intellectual or physical disabilities and a support person is permitted. 

Here are some guidelines for our visitors to follow:

• Wash your hands often while visiting our facility. It prevents the spread of germs that can cause infection.
• If you have a fever, cold, or any infection, please stay home.
• Insight Rehabilitation Hospital Hillside is smoke and tobacco-free. No smoking or vaping is allowed anywhere on the grounds.
• When bringing food or drink from outside of the hospital, please check with your family members nurse to ensure it is safe for them to have.
• Family members should consult with the case manager regarding the patient therapy schedule.
• Overnight visitors are permitted, but limited to one per night.
• Visitation with children is welcomed. When visiting, we ask that children remain in their family members rooms and supervised at all times. Children visitation with patients in isolation is discouraged.
• Family participation in therapy sessions is a necessary part of your loved one’s treatment. Family participation in therapy will be coordinated and scheduled by your loved one’s case manager.
